Zack DeYmaz
President | Owner
Zack DeYmaz began his real estate career in 2011—coming out of one of the toughest housing markets in recent memory. With homes barely selling, he learned quickly that success would depend on hard work, consistency, and a willingness to take on any opportunity. In those early years, Zack built homes, sold real estate as a licensed agent, and sourced investment properties—doing whatever it took to gain traction.
From 2011 to now, Zack has been involved in completing more than 600 homes—over half of them custom builds. This hands-on experience shaped the foundation of HD Homes, where the priorities remain the same: build on time, stay on budget, and communicate clearly at every step. Zack’s approach is straightforward—do good work, treat people honestly, and always look for ways to improve the client experience.
Scott Hurley
Owner
Scott Hurley is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and a seasoned real estate professional with more than 20 years of experience in construction, development, and brokerage throughout Central Arkansas. Over the course of his career, Scott has built a strong reputation for integrity, leadership, and a results-driven approach across multiple market sectors. Scott has been actively involved in a diverse range of real estate ventures, including single-family residential communities, multi-family developments, and self-storage facilities.
Beyond his professional achievements, Scott is deeply committed to his faith and values the relationships that enrich both his personal and professional life. He finds genuine fulfillment in mentoring others, investing time with his family and friends, and fostering meaningful connections with the people he works alongside.
Carla Koen
Owner | Administrator
Carla Koen has been in land development/home construction/real estate since 2009. When she isn’t herding cats as the Administrator at HD Homes, she enjoys traveling the world and listening to music with her husband and co-worker, Reade Mitchell. Carla’s background is colorful and complex.
Though she began her career as a journalist, she has been a photographer, cook, art gallery owner and sock salesman. Carla is truly a jack of all trades, and essential to keeping HD Homes running smoothly.

Lawson Maddox Richards
SALES & OPERATIONS
Lawson entered the world of construction in 2020 and has spent the past years becoming an expert with how new construction intersects with real estate. Lawson got her real estate license in 2016 and has been working to help her community since. Lawson wears many hats working at HD Homes. Whether it be real estate guidance, marketing strategy, or operational assistance, Lawson is excited to help in any capacity that furthers her industry knowledge.
Joe Hampton
Project Manager
Joe has been a project manager since 2019. After jumping into the world of home building at a young age Joe has successfully completed over 100 builds over the years. Born and raised in Little Rock, Joe loves his community and the connections he has made through this job. Joe says, “I love watching a piece of land turn into a place where families will make so many memories”
Taylor Flynn
Project Manager
Taylor has been in the industry since 2016, bringing his expertise to Arkansas in 20XX. Taylor is an avid hunter and fisherman, with love for the natural state and community building. Taylor’s favorite part of project management is seeing the completed project come together after months of collaborative effort. Taylor has established a reputation for building quality homes quickly through efficiency and superb organizational skills.
Blake Ward
PROJECT MANAGER
Blake has been in the construction industry since 2023, following a decade of experience in HVAC. He particularly enjoys the process of building not only a client’s dream home but also a lasting relationship throughout the construction journey. Growing up in Benton, Blake developed a passion for the outdoors, which he expresses through hunting, fishing, camping, and sports. For Blake, the most rewarding part of his work is seeing new homeowners fall in love with their homes when he hands over the keys.
Alex Ibarra
Project Manager
Alex has been immersed in the construction industry from a young age, learning the craft of framing alongside his family before stepping into full scale home building. Raised in Bryant Arkansas, Alex takes pride in helping families turn their dreams into reality by transforming vision and inspiration into custom homes that feel warm, refined, and thoughtfully crafted. Outside of work, Alex enjoys traveling, cooking with his girlfriend, and finding design inspiration in everyday life.
Reade Mitchell
Communications Director
Reade has called Little Rock home for most of his adult life. He grew up in Pine Bluff and in Botswana, Tanzania and Kenya. Reade is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and also studied communications at Henderson State University. He has worked in Communications for Arkansas radio and television stations, the Little Rock Regional Chamber, Comcast and Verizon.
Reade enjoys travel and golf with his wife and co-worker, Carla Koen.

Jonathan Stone
Sales Agent
Jonathan Stone joined us in the summer of 2020 and serves as one of our Senior Real Estate Agents. He plays a key role in managing our commercial development projects, with a recent focus on property management, self-storage, and residential development. “I would say I am best at taking what can be an overwhelming process of buying, selling, or building a house and simplifying it for potential clients while explaining everything it is they need to know while always working to make sure their goals are met.”
Leo Sanchez
Sales Agent
Leo was born and raised in Argentina and moved to the beautiful city of Miami when he was a teenager. During his time in “The Magic City”, he had an opportunity to submerge in the variety of cultures from all over the world, especially from South and Central America and met his lovely Colombian wife, Natalie before moving to Little Rock. Now he has a beautiful family with three children. Having worked in international sales for the last 15 years helping develop relationships with companies all over the world, Leo wants to bring the same passion and dedication into real estate and help making the American Dream true for families, with a heart to specially serve the Hispanic Community in Central Arkansas.
